Abstract

The ability to form well-founded judgements based on reasonable arguments and to make decisions on this basis is undoubtedly one of the key competences of "postmodernity" (cf. Beck 2007: 215 f.). Even in everyday situations we encounter numerous cases in which judgement is required, e.g. purchasing decisions, decisions about the organisation of leisure time, etc.
