Abstract
In der medienpädagogischen Forschung wird zunehmend betont, wie epistemische Überzeugungen und digitale Lernüberzeugungen von Lehrkräften deren Unterrichtspraxis sowie die Entwicklung ihrer digitalen Kompetenz prägen. Aufbauend auf Befragungsdaten von 156 Lehrkräften und Lehramtsstudierenden in Deutschland untersucht diese Studie mithilfe von Strukturgleichungsmodellen (SEM) die Zusammenhänge zwischen epistemischen Überzeugungen, digitalen Lernüberzeugungen und digitaler Kompetenz. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass sowohl epistemische Überzeugungen als auch digitale Lernüberzeugungen signifikante positive Prädiktoren der digitalen Kompetenz von Lehrkräften sind. Darüber hinaus vermitteln digitale Lernüberzeugungen die Beziehung zwischen epistemischen Überzeugungen und digitaler Kompetenz. Diese Befunde deuten darauf hin, dass grundlegende Vorstellungen von Wissen mit der Entwicklung digitaler Kompetenz indirekt in Zusammenhang stehen, indem sie die Überzeugungen von Lehrkräften über digitale Medien und digitales Lernen prägen.
Theoretisch fundiert wurde ein Mediationsmodell entwickelt und empirisch überprüft, das epistemische Überzeugungen, digitale Lernüberzeugungen und digitale Kompetenz miteinander verknüpft. Die Ergebnisse stützen die angenommenen Mediationsbeziehungen. Gleichwohl sollten die Befunde als vorläufig interpretiert werden. Zukünftige Forschung mit kausal stärkeren Designs ist erforderlich, um die Implikationen für Lehrerbildung und Bildungspolitik weiter zu überprüfen und zu präzisieren.
