Abstract

Almost 160 countries have now signed the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The ratification of this international treaty has enormously accelerated changes in education worldwide towards systems that are designed to be inclusive for all students. One of the central challenges in implementing inclusive education is currently to formulate "didactic guidelines for dealing with diversity in schools" (Amrhein, Dziak-Mahler 2014: title).
