This paper focuses on the question of what practices of use have emerged and are currently developing in relation to virtual communities. How do individuals organise their use of virtual communities of practice in everyday life and where can this use be located in relation to learning? This question will be examined from a learning and practice theory perspective (cf. Reckwitz 2003).
