Abstract

The concept of "Learner Generated Contexts" (LGC) (LGC) (see, among others, Luckin 2010; Luckin et al. 2005), which has hardly been received in this country (for an initial treatment, see Seipold 2012, 2013, 2014a, 2014b, 2014c, 2014d), but in Great Britain is known as "user generated contexts" (Pachler et al. 2010 or "learner generated contexts"). (Pachler et al. 2010) or "learner generated contexts". (see also Cook 2010; Garnett 2008) in connection with Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) such as mobile learning (Cook 2010), should help to understand learning in formal (Luckin et al. 2005) and informal (Brown 2010) environments as self-directed and personalised and dependent on different resources.
