Abstract
Media literacy has developed into a cross-cutting competence across professions and ages (Weiss 2012), which employers usually already require during and at the latest after the training of learners as well as employees. For this reason, demands are being made to ensure that adolescents have sufficient media competence in the education sector. Schorb (2005: 257) states: "Media competence should conceptually bundle the ability that the individual needs within a media or information society".
