Abstract

The article takes up the use of spatial metaphors in the context of the mediatisation process and, following social constructivist, ecological and spatial sociological contributions, attempts to motivate a renunciation of dualistic conceptions of space. Instead, it argues for placing the change of relational orders in the context of mediatisation more strongly at the centre of (media) pedagogical theorising.
