Abstract
To this day, school learning is considered to be detached from the students' everyday lives. This has led to school being criticised as being far removed from life and not sufficiently connected to pupils' everyday contexts. The connection of learning to the extracurricular world, towards which school is supposed to prepare, is thus too little accentuated in the teaching of schools. One concrete application is the school's preparation for the transition of pupils to vocational training. Most read articles by the same author(s)
