Theses On Media Education In Social Pedagogy

Abstract

The author deals with media education for social pedagogy. He assumes that the use of the computer or electronic media in general is part of general education and everyday cultural techniques for children and young people, that media competence is therefore relevant for everyone today. However, there are also areas of media literacy, according to the author's thesis, which schools cannot cover and which remain tasks within media education for social education. (DIPF/Orig.).
