Abstract

The search for research on social online networks in child and youth work reveals a heterogeneous landscape: empirical studies as well as theoretic conceptual approaches and practical reflections are found. In the following, this landscape will be scetched, the various findings will be discussed and approaches and research desiderata will be derived from them. In this way I would like to contribute to mapping the hitherto relatively unclear field and make it fruitful for further research.
