Abstract
This article addresses the significance of spatio-temporality in digital games for learning and educational processes. To this end, the "playful dimensions" of the spatio-temporal transformation of society are first shown, before the significance of space and time in digital games is explained in general and, finally, a didactic scenario is presented on the basis of a selected game, in the context of which moral decisions can be ethically reflected upon in the course of the game. It becomes clear that digital games with their specific spatio-temporal dimensions provide opportunities for immersive reflection and that their educational potential is itself significantly dependent on the game's spatial and temporal structure. Most read articles by the same author(s)
